Usman Danfodio varsity alumni hail Saidu’s appointment as Permsec in Kwara –Commend Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq By Stephen Olufemi Oni, Ilorin

The Kwara state chapter of the Alumni Association of the Usman Danfodio University has lauded Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for appointing one of their active and committed members, Hajia Habiba Salman Saidu, as Permanent Secretary in the state civil service.

The state Chairman of the Alumni Association of the institution, Dr. Amuda-Kannike Abdulkareem, gave the commendation on Monday during a solidarity visit by members to the office of the newly appointed Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tertiary Education on Monday

Dr. Abdulkareem specifically commended the Governor for endorsing the appointment of the Permanent Secretary which, he said, is long awaited and well deserved, having risen through the ranks in the state civil service

He Congratulated the Permanent Secretary on rising to the peak of her carrier, and particularly lauded her sense of commitment and dedication, adding that she is a role model and an outstanding ambassador of the Alumni Association.

The Alumni Association Chairman emphasised the need for the Permanent Secretary to continue to remain steadfast, focused and have faith, praying God Almighty to enrich her wisdom and guide her aright in the task ahead

In her response, the Permanent Secretary, Hajia Habiba Salman Saidu, appreciated the Association for counting her worthy, adding that the visit and show of solidarity would linger for long in her memory.

She encouraged them to be committed, dedicated and hardworking in order to excel in their various chosen carriers and shine as good ambassadors of the Alumni.

Hajia Saidu also admonished the Alumni members on the need to impact positively in the society for the growth and development of the state and country at large.

Alumni embers on the solidarity visit included representatives drawn from different graduating sets.
