

WAR AGAINST CRIMES:KOGI CP ASSURES NIG.HUNTERS COUNCIL OF INCREASED SYNERGY.
As war against kidnapping, banditry, highways robbery ,and all forms of criminalities continues unabated,the Kogi state police command has assured the Nigeria Hunter Council of increase synergy with the sole purpose to combat crimes in and around the state.

The commissioner of police ,Mr.Idirisu Dauda gave the assurance when he received a delegation of Nigeria Hunter Council led by the state Commander ,Mr. Paul Monday in his office Lokoja
He explained that the command will work closely with the council in the areas of information and intelligence gatherings and reporting hide out of men of the under world in the forest to security agencies to forestall any form of security threats in the state.
Mr.Idirisu Dauda advised Nigeria Hunter Members to guide against taking laws into their hands as they were not authorized to handle firearms as hunters warning that any members violating the laid down regulations will face the wrath of the law.
The state Police commissioner while praising hunters for playing a great role as they collaborate with relevant security architectures in curbing insecurity especially reporting cases of kidnappers, banditry ,highways robbery and other heinous crimes also advised them to resist the temptation of being manipulated by those he regarded as powerful individuals to break the law.
Speaking earlier, the Kogi state Commandment of Nigeria Hunter council, Commander Paul Monday had intimated that they were in the state police command Office to sought for areas of expanded collaboration with the Nigeria Police force to rid the the state from any form of security threats.
While congratulating CP Dauda on his recent elevation to the status of Commissioner of police and incharge of Kogi state,Paul Monday formally informed that the bill for the establishment of the council which will give it legal recognition has passed the second reading of National Assembly.
He gave all assurances of the ranks and files to operates within the ambit of law which put them in placed stating that the intelligence and anti crime units of the council had helped to curbed criminalities in the state.
