*Yuletide: Senator Oseni rejoices with Christians, promises more impactful representation*
Senator Yakubu Oseni representing Kogi Central Senatorial District has called on Christians across the globe especially his constituents to exhibit love and selfless sacrifice which are the hallmarks of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The lawmaker made the call today in his Christmas message to his constituents and Christians around the world.
He noted that the world would considerably be healed of strife, bitterness and unnecessary acrimony if the teachings of Jesus Christ which depicts unconditional love, hope and faith are fully replicated by the people in their daily interaction with others.
“As the world celebrate the birth of our beloved Prophet, I admonished you all to make deeper reflection on the essence of our existence which is the real reason for the season. Endeavour to extend hand of fellowship to others, show love unconditionally and pray for peaceful coexistence of our dear nation and world” he said.
Senator Oseni who assured his constituents of more dividends of democracy and impactful representation in years ahead, admonished Christians to continue to promote activities that will deepen affection and engender peace amongst different segments of the country, adding that security of the nation should be a matter of top concern for every Nigerian.
“We don’t have another country other than Nigeria and as such, regardless of political or religious affiliations, we must all strive to make it prosperous and safe for all.
“Therefore, I encourage you all to use this Yuletide season to pray for your leaders for more wisdom to pilot the affairs of this great nation and to overcome current insecurity challenge which has the capacity to stall meaningful development projects of government at all levels”, he emphasized.
