As the President of Kogi state council of Chiefs and the Ata Igala kingdom, Doctor Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Oguche Akpa the second commemorates the one year anniversary on the throne of his forefathers , Kogi state Auditor General, Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala has felicitated with the monarch as he o’clock Three hundred and sixty five days in office.
Okala in a message of felicitation to the state, Igala kingdom and Ata which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja described the one year of the monarch on the exalted stool as overwhelming, results oriented, progressive, peaceful.
The State Auditor General observed that the era of Doctor Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Oguche Akpa the second as user-in peace,unity progress and development of the Igala kingdom since he began to hold sway as King of Igala kingdom
YY Okala appealed to the entire residents of Igala and Bassa land to continue to rally round his Royal Majesty [Agabaidu] to enable him draw meaningful social amenities to his domain saying that this could only materialise when there is bond of unity among the citizens.
He asked God to give the Paramount ruler wisdom, knowledge, sound health and longevity in the years ahead as he lead his subjects to an eldorado of growth and development.
Similarly Okala has congratulated the Chief of staff to the governor , Pharmacist Asuku Mohammed Jamiu, the Accountant General of Kogi state, Alh. Momoh Jibrin and the Managing Director and Chief executive of Hafiq Real Estate Nigeria limited, Alh. Friday Idachaba as they bags honourary traditional chieftaincy tittles from the Igala kingdom.
He attributed their recognition for the awards by one of the oldest dynasty in the country as a rewards for hard work, dedication to duties and services to humanity asserting that it is a litmus for them to continue their unfettered support to the state Governor,Alh. Yahaya Bello to enable his administration’s meet the ever escalating yearnings and aspirations of the generality of the people of the state.
