The Kogi State chapter of the Police Community Relation Committee, PCRC, today inaugurated new executives.
The national chairman of PCRC, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan who presided over the event urged all the new appointees to be loyal and deligent in discharging their duties.
During the event, the Deputy Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly Rt Hon Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba was appointed as the State Matron of Kogi State PCRC.
In a remark, the Deputy Speaker thanked the national chairman of PCRC Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan for finding her worthy for the appointment and charged the new executives to be proactive and see their appointments as a call to service.
The executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo was ably represented at the occasion by the Honorable commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs,Hajia Rabiatu Okute who also doubles as the Chairperson of PCRC Zone 8. Hon Usman Ochedi, Member Representing Dekina/Biraidu constituency in the State House of Assembly was also appointed as a patrons
