Today, as we celebrate a quarter-century of uninterrupted democracy in our great nation, I am honored to share this message of hope and unity with you all. This significant milestone in our democratic journey fills me with immense pride and optimism for the future of our beloved country.
Over the past 25 years, we have collectively faced numerous challenges, yet our steadfast commitment to democracy has remained unshaken. Our perseverance has fortified our democratic institutions, amplified the voices of our citizens, and paved the way for a brighter future.
As we mark this occasion, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our president, whose leadership continues to steer us towards greater heights. I also commend the Governor Ododo-led administration in Kogi State for their dedication and hard work in fostering development and progress within our state.
To the good people of Kogi State, your resilience and unity have been a source of inspiration. Your contributions to our state’s growth and your active participation in the democratic process are commendable. Together, we have laid a strong foundation for future generations to build upon.
Democracy is not solely about elections; it is about active participation, accountability, and the collective effort to create an inclusive and prosperous society.
