Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo made this call during a visit by the appointees to his office at Government House in Lokoja.
Represented by the Deputy, His Excellency, Elder Joel Salifu, the Governor stated that his mission is to give back to the people of the state whose mandate he upholds.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo emphasized that he is representing the people of Kogi State and is committed to delivering democracy’s benefits to all parts of the state.
The Governor praised the political appointees from the area for recognizing the significance of their appointment, highlighting the need for selfless service to the people of the state.
During their individual speeches, the Special Adviser to the Governor on War against Drug Abuse and illicit trafficking; Ms. Eunice Treasures Achimugwu, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Statistics; Mr. Onoja James, and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Mr. Amodu, expressed their gratitude to Governor for their appointments and pledged their unwavering loyalty to the state government.
