The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully conducted a direct primary election in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, with Hon. Cosmas Ilemona Atabor emerging as the sole candidate of his party, APC for the upcoming local government polls.
The primary election, which was conducted in a peaceful and transparent manner, saw Hon. Atabor emerged as the consensus candidate, receiving overwhelming support from party members and delegates.
The free, fair and credible primaries held across the various ward collation centres in Igalamela/Odolu LG today, which also determined the victory of that of the Ten (10) councillors.
Hon. Atabor emergence is a true belief to his dedication and commitment to our party’s ideals. We are confident in his ability to deliver victory and progress to Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, said APC leaders and delegates.
Hon. Atabor expressed gratitude to the party leadership, delegates, and supporters for their trust and confidence in him. He pledged to work tirelessly to ensure the party’s victory in the local government elections and to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area.
Also in attendance were The former LG chairman and now the SSA on logistics to the Kogi State government Hon. James Onoja, Hon. Alih Atabor, Hon. Patrick Danjuma Onogu the former administrator of Igalamela/Odolu and the party chairman Hon. Halilu Ochidi.
