In the light of the foregoing, Hon. Sam Olawumi Jacob, KGHA member, representing Mopamuro State Constituency who also doubles as the *Chairman Budget Monitoring and Appropriations* has in his effort to deliver on part of his campaign promises, facilitated and secured the approval of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for construction, renovation and upgrading of educational facilities in Mopamuro LGA.
“Many thanks to your Excellency, Governor Ododo for adhering to budgetary provisions in the execution of remarkable projects, particularly in Mopamuro and Kogi State at large, indeed, you are appreciated beyond words.”
Amongst the various discussions that subsisted when the lawmaker visited the Governor in recent time, it is of great joy to inform the good people of Mopamuro that:
▪︎College of Education Technical Mopa will receive full infrastructural funding immediately.
▪︎Construction and complete overhauling of ACSS Amuro to full capacity GYB standard in the like of the one in Adankolo, Lokoja.
Not only that, H.E. Alhaji Ahmed Ododo has approved through SUBEB the construction and renovation of the underlisted schools in Mopamuro LGA:
▪︎Construction of Three (3) Class rooms with Principal office and store, UBE JSS Arungbo, Mopa.
▪︎ Renovation of Two (2) Classrooms, Office and store, LGEA Primary School, Ayede Amuro.
▪︎Renovation of Two (2) Classrooms, Office and store, LGEA Primary School, LGEA Okeagi Ilemo, Mopa.
▪︎Renovation of Four (4) Classrooms, Office and store, LGEA Primary School, LGEA Ilai, Mopa.
• Construction of Two (2) Classrooms LGEA Primary School Orokere Old Site, Amuro.
However, It is no longer news that Mopa Township Roads is already wearing a new look as budgeted in 2024 Appropriation Law.
More so, Mopa/Okeagi and Mopa/Ilai Roads’ rehabilitation/construction are certain to commence soonest, too.
Permit me to say that Your Excellency has earned Mopamuro LG’s trust, love, and unalloy loyalty. We have not had it this much, and you have made it clear to us that we are one of your favourites. we shall not fail to reciprocate in earnest when it is time to do so because to whom much is given, more is required, Olawumi submitted.
Hon. Olawumi remains resolute in his decision to enhance academic pursuits and standards in Mopamuro State constituency.
Indeed, Mopamuro is proudly and well represented.
