A chairmanship candidate for Ijumu Local Government Area, of Kogi State, Dr. Oluwafemi IBIMODE has promised to improve and work for the common interest of the area if elected on the 19th October, 2024 council election. This has been his message to every community he has visited recently in the course of his campaign.
Yes, another fabulous opportunity is here for us in Ijumu Local Government Area to help ourselves to rewrite our retrogressive and old narrative of underdevelopment by coming out en mass to support a progressive and Ijumu minded team ably led by Dr. Oluwafemi Ibimode and Engr. Kayode Olupeka both chairmanship and vice chairmanship candidates respectively of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in the forthcoming Kogi State Local Government Election slated for the 19th October, 2024.
This piece of work has been briefly and clinically written to further intimate Ijumu people that they have some crops of responsible, honest, loyal, workaholic and dedicated individuals like Ibimode and Olupeka that are stoutly ready to bring some uncommon developments to all parts of Ijumu land. Hence, they need our votes in order to fix the schools, health centers, roads, water supply, electricity, sustain and create new jobs. And most importantly, to improve on the level of peace in the area.
God, the Creator of heaven and earth has strategically place Ijumu Kingdom in the vintage position of opulence and prosperity. The local government area is perhaps second to none in Kogi State in terms of solid minerals, manpower, arable land for agriculture, tourism and hospitality. It is an area heavily dotted with abundant resources such as limestones, gemstones, clay, iron ore, granite, calcite, feldspars and sandstone. It’s also the largest producer of cocoa, coffee and cassava in Kogi State. All these have been verified and studied by Ibimode-Olupeka in the course of their electoral campaign. They have further promised to rework the economic situation in the LGA to the advantage of the good people of Ijumu Kingdom.
Both Ibimode-Olupeka have agreed with stakeholders from Ijumu Local Government Area to fast track the Ijumu project and to focus on job creation for our youths, women, and to assist the artisans, the sick and indigents.
They have also proudly pointed it out their determination to support our farmers with farm inputs, create harmonious working conditions for the local government workers as well as attract investors.
Remember, Ibimode-Olupeka are not novices in Ijumu politics, they stand out among their peers politically and morally. They have an unstained relationship with every cadre of our people, they are close to them all. The two men have joined politics in order to use it as a bigger platform to solve and resolve myriads of challenges confronting our people and they have promised to use politics to bring even development to Ijumu Kingdom. They have set achievable goals for themselves in order to make meaningful impact in the kingdom especially, after being elected on the 19th October, 2024. Their hallmark is to serve the people better than before.
Finally, the duo’s actual goal as chairman and vice chairman respectively is to mobilize the resources of Ijumu to make a fundamental break with the failures of the past years in order to bequeath a united, peaceful and prosperous local government area to generations to come. There is no shadow of doubts in my mind that Ibimode and Olupeka will succeed as the next generation of leaders for Ijumu Local Government Area, but then, we must give them all the support they require from us. Vote IBIMODE-OLUPEKA, VOTE YPP. They represent the new faces in Ijumu politics.
