The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly Rt Hon Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba has congratulated the newly elected chairmen and councilors of the 21 Local Government Areas of the state for their victory at the polls in the just concluded Local Government council election in the state.
The Deputy Speaker in a statement released to the press expressed her Joy for the victory of the All Progressive Congress, APC, at the polls.
She commended the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for nurturing an environment of hope and progress for all Kogites.
Rt Hon Comfort also took the opportunity to commend the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, KSIEC,led by Hon Nda Eri for their commendable management of the electoral process.
The Deputy Speaker in her concluding remarks urged the newly elected chairmen and councilors to honor their electioneering campaign promises. She reminded them that their election is not merely a position of power, but a call to service.
