Hon. Jacob Abraham Damilare, a Permanent Board Member of the Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Destiny Bello Ademola, the newly elected Executive Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government Area, and his vice chairperson, Hon. Joy Dalumo.

Abraham also congratulated Hon. Osha Dare Jackson, the councillor-elect for Ward 1, Odole 1, alongside all other councillors-elect in Mopamuro, following their victory in the council elections conducted by the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC).

Hon. Abraham described the victory as a result of the strong foundations laid by former Governor Yahaya Bello under his New Direction Administration, which have been sustained and consolidated by the current administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He emphasized that the overwhelming victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the council elections reflected the general acceptance of the party’s candidates by the people of Kogi State.

“The giant strides of Governor Ododo and the wide support for the APC candidates made this victory possible,” Abraham remarked, expressing his optimism for the leadership of the incoming Destiny/Joy administration in Mopamuro.

He added that the administration is expected to rekindle the hope of youth in the local government, given the APC’s commitment to youth inclusiveness under Governor Ododo’s leadership.

Being a native of Odole 1 Ward, Hon. Abraham expressed his personal satisfaction with the election of Hon. Osha Dare Jackson as councillor-elect for the ward.

He urged the councillor-elect to remain focused and committed to delivering the dividends of democracy, stating that the trust placed in him by the people has been clearly expressed through the ballot.

“The people have spoken, and now it is time to justify their confidence,” Abraham said, encouraging Jackson to meet the expectations of the community and not disappoint his supporters.

Furthermore, Abraham conveyed his gratitude to the electorate from his ward and the entire local government for turning out in large numbers to vote for the APC during the elections.

He also extended his appreciation to party leaders within Mopamuro for their unwavering support and dedication to the success of the party.
