Best selling and award winning author, Bolaji Ajayi, has identified marketing as one of the biggest challenges in the writing industry, especially in an industry as competitive as children’s literature.
She stated that getting one’s book in front of the right audience, amidst the constant noise of new releases and digital distractions, is difficult.
She added that, however, she has found that by staying authentic to her message and engaging directly with readers, she has been able to build a loyal community around Akiti, and that she is always looking for new ways to expand that.
