NSCDC decorates 416 newly promoted officers In Kwara Stephen Olufemi Oni, Ilorin

The Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Umar J.G. Mohammed, has urged the newly promoted officers to embrace their new ranks with a heightened sense of duty and accountability.

Commandant Umar gave this charge on Thursday during the decoration ceremony held at the State Command Headquarters in Ilorin.

The newly promoted officers include 21 Deputy Commandants of Corps, 10 Assistant Commandants of Corps, 13 Chief Superintendents of Corps, 48 Superintendents of Corps, 129 Deputy Superintendents of Corps, 127 Assistant Superintendents of Corps I, and 68 Assistant Superintendents of Corps II.

The Kwara NSCDC helmsman applauded the Minister of Interior, Hon. Tunji Ojo, and the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, for magnanimously approving a significant number of promotion in recognition of their hard work and commitment to service.

While congratulating the newly promoted officers on their well-deserved promotion, he charged them to redouble their efforts in the bid to actualise the mandate of the Corps.

Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, DCC Augustine Eramhaenze, acknowledged with gratitude the divine favour that has led to their promotion to higher ranks, assuring that the officers would earnestly strive to fulfil their responsibilities with diligence and dedication.
