The lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has expressed sadness over the death of former House of Representatives member, Hon. Aliyu Bahago Ahman-Pategi, who passed away on Thursday.
Senator Mustapha, according to a statement by Nasif Sholagberu,

described Hon. Bahago’s death as a rude shock, noting that it is a significant loss to the state’s political landscape.
He extended his condolences to His Royal Highness, the Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Bologi II, the people of Patigi Local Government Area, and the Ahman-Pategi family, praying that God gives them strength and comfort during this difficult time.
The Senator prayed to Almighty Allah to accept the deceased’s return, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him a place in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
