The Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo, has donated a motorbike to the Zonal Security Adviser, for Ankpa Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed – Mpi.
The donation, presented during the ceremony today, was officially flagged off by the Chairman of Ankpa Local Government, Engr. Mohammed Ogbo Yahaya.
The motorbike is expected to enhance security operations in the axis, particularly in hard-to-reach areas, by improving mobility and response time.
Receiving the motorbike, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed expressed heartfelt gratitude to the governor, describing the gesture as timely and impactful.
“This motorbike will significantly improve our response time and enable us to effectively monitor and coordinate security activities across the Ankpa Federal Axis. I thank His Excellency for this invaluable support,” he said.
He assured the governor and the people of Ankpa Federal Axis of his commitment to using the motorbike efficiently to ensure the safety and security of the region.
The event was also graced by Hon. Akus Lawal, the member representing Ankpa 1 Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly. Hon. Lawal commended the governor for prioritizing security and lauded the initiative as a much-needed intervention to address the unique challenges in the region.
