Prof. Jegede Commissioned NOUN Senate Chambers, Praise the VC for the initiatives

The pioneer Vice Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Professor Olugbemiro Jegede has commended Professor Olufemi Peters for putting up a Senate Chamber befitting the institution.

Emeritus Professor Jegede gave the commendation while cutting the tape to inaugurate the new 165-seater ultra-modern and post-structural Senate Chambers of NOUN on Thursday in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory.

He described the Senate Chamber as a fantastic place that will serve the students, staff and the institution.

I had the humble and special privilege to be asked, as the 1st foundation of NOUN to cut the tape to declare the new Senate Chambers open”.

Professor Jegede lauded the three former Vice Chancellors of the university and the current Vice Chancellor for gracing the occasion with their attendance.

He praised the Vice Chancellor Professor Olufemi Peters for initiating the project, saying the edifice is the brain child of the Vice Chancellor.
