I have decided to write this short letter to you devoid of the usual long protocol.
In the midst of the sexual harassment allegations involving Sen. Godswill Akpabio before now and now, is it not obvious that he lacks the moral rectitude to hold such an exalted position in “trust” for you? Yes, in trust for you because he wouldn’t have become the Senate President without anointing him.
Even though you chose him to serve your interests at the Red Chamber as it were, however, I do not believe that his alleged sexual harassments of women before now, and now, is part of your interests you want him to serve at the Senate.
As a strong supporter of your government, though, I equally point out any of your policies I believe are not to the best interest of the masses, I therefore suggest you withdraw the same “anointing” the same manner you installed him as the Senate President, as he has become a bad brand in your government. Don’t wait until he sexually harasses your family member before you believe any of these sexual harassment allegations and misuse of public trust.
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
DJ Alabi,
Kogi State
