
The Onu Igala DELTA state, Engr. Dr. Salifu Akoji Anthony has eloguized the leadership fatherly of the paramount traditional ruler of Igala Kingdom, the Ata Igala, HRM Mathew Opaluwa Oguche. Chief Salifu Anthony made the commendation at Idah after his coronation as the Onu Igala Delta state by the Ata Igala.
He assured the Ata Igala that his recognition, award and elevation as traditional title holder in Igala Kingdom will spur him to continue his selfless humanitarian services for Igala people both at home and in diaspora. Chief Salifu Anthony urged Igala son’s and daughters both at home and in diaspora to join hands with the Ata Igala, HRM Mathew Opaluwa Oguche to attract developmental projects to the Igalaland and make the area better than it is presently. The Onu Igala Delta state promised to be more exemplary in the task ahead by toeing the lines of justice, fairness, equity and accountability in his quest as servant leader of Igalas in Delta state. He called on Igala sons and daughters to have broader heart with sincerity of purpose to lead by example and shun all negative tendencies that can tarnish their image and reputation of Igala people anywhere and in any position they found themselves. Chief Salifu Anthony praised the initiative of Ata Igala and assured him that his vision and mission for better and prosperous Igalaland will be answered by Almighty God.
