The Ata Igala, HRM Matthew Opaluwa Oguche has decorated Chief Abdul Omale Akebe as Oduma Ata Igala with a charge to Igala sons and daughters to be their brothers keeper in whatever positions they found themselves. HRM Matthew Opaluwa who stated this in his speech at coronation ceremony in Ata palace Idah, reminded the newly crowned Oduma Ata Igala to bring to bear his wealth of experience as seasoned paramilitary officer in his present capacity to better the lots of Igalas both at home and in diaspora. The paramount traditional ruler of Igala kingdom assured to be exemplary in his traditional leadership as the custodian of Igala culture where peace, progress and brotherly love supercede any personal leaning 
He reminded Chief Abdul Omale Akebe to brace up and use his position to make policies and attract people oriented projects to Igalaland. The Ata Igala maintained that he is royal father to all Igalas and called for concerted and collaborative effort to maintain and sustain peaceful coexistence of all in our communities and areas Speaking at the occasion, the new Oduma Ata Igala, Chief Abdul Omale Akebe appreciated Ata Igala for considering him worthy to serve in the present capacity and assured not to disappoint nor derail in the task ahead. He called for unity of Igala sons and daughters both at home and in diaspora to form Igala Club anywhere they found themselves to use the platform to address their issues of urgent importance for the peace, progress and development of Igalaland. The newly crowned Oduma Ata Chief Abdul Omale Akebe is a distinguished police officer who served and gone through ranks and file in his service to his fatherland and humanity. The enthusiastic audience echoed the salutation of ELAKU as a respect to the new Oduma Ata Igala.
