MINILS Gets New DG As Issa Aremu’s 4-Year Tenure Ends By Stephen Olufemi Oni, Ilorin

The Director of Labour Managements Relations Department, Mr Ezekiel Ayorinde, has been named the new Acting Director-General of Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies, Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, following the expiration of the tenure of Comrade Issa Aremu, who had been at the helm of affairs of the premier Labour Institute since the past four years.

Speaking after the official handover, the new Ag. DG, while commending the resilience of the Institute’s workforce, described them as indispensable assets on whom the progress of the Institute depends.

Mr Ayorinde described his emergence as a new era in the history of the Institute and assured that his administration will not deviate from acceptable standards of procedures in public service.

The members of staff, who were excited at the emergence of Mr Ayorinde, prayed God to grant him the requisite wisdom to pilot the affairs of the Institute within the period he will be in office.
