Ongoing Abejukolo township roads rehabilitation, another evidence of Gov. Ododo’s presence in Omala, Entire Kogi East – Kogi Transport Commissioner.
The Kogi State Commissioner For Transport, Hon. Atuluku Levi, has described the ongoing road rehabilitation of Abejukolo township roads in Omala LGA, as another evidence of the presence of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo in the area.
The Commissioner made the disclosure during his visit to Abejukolo, Omala LG today, to inspect the ongoing Abejukolo township road rehabilitation.
The Commissioner who hails from Omala LG, was accompanied on the inspection of the ongoing road rehabilitation of the road project alongside the Councilor Opada-ofejiji Ward), Hon Dorcas Musa.
The Commissioner described Gov. Ododo, the flower boy and first born of former Gov Yahaya Bello as the representation of what good governance should be, said for couple of years, the Abejukolo township roads have been in a sorry State, but said today the rehabilitation work has become a story.
According to the Commissioner, the asphalt overlay is the final work of the rehabilitation work on the Abejukolo township roads, expressed happiness that eyes can now see that Gov. Ododo has matched his words with actions.
” Gov. Ododo has shown serious commitment to the Abejukolo township roads for the benefit of the people of the Local Government Area.
” We give thanks to Almighty God for making this possible. We give thanks to God for our overall leader, His Excellency, and Yahaya Bello, who conceptualized the construction of the Abejukolo township roads”.
” We are happy that this development is not just taking place in Omala LGA, but in the entire Kogi East Senatorial District and in the entire three Senatorial districts of the State”.
” This is no longer a story, I’m here as the Commissioner for transport, a bonafide son of Omala LGA to attest to this very conspicuous road project and the praise worthy work of His Excellency, Gov. Ododo, the incumbent people elected Governor of Kogi State.
” Like I used to say, Gov. Ododo is from Omala LGA. This good work of Gov. Ododo is not just stopping here. From Omala, it will be Idah LGA where the Governor just flagged off the construction of Idah township roads and to Dekina LGA, precisely in Ayingba township roads. So in Kogi East, Gov. Ododo is visibly conspicuously present”.
” In Omala LGA, the road rehabilitation is not just the first. As we speak, we have the military forward base of the Nigerian Army. This effort is to end insecurity, ensure security of lives and properties. The security of lives and properties is the number one priority of the administration of Gov. Ododo, this is to enable people go about seeking their means of livelihood unhindered”.
” Away from the Abejukolo township roads, there is also the commitment of Gov. Ododo with the release of money for the rehabilitation of the Abejukolo water board. In a few days time from now, we will be seeing the completion of work on the township roads and the commencement of work on the Water works for water to be supplied to the people of Abejukolo.
” What Gov. Ododo is doing is what Governance is all about. This is what politics is all about, for the people to feel the impact of politics of good governance.
