The member representing Mopamuro State Constituency at KGHA, Hon. Sam Olawumi Jacob today presented Five Million (5,000,000) Naira cheque for renovation of Doctor’s quarter, General Hospital Mopa and Grade 1 Area Court, Amuro respectively, totalling 10m.
The lawmaker, while presenting the cheques for the two projects, acknowledged the patience and understanding of the good people of Mopamuro, noting that this is just a fraction of his campaign promises.
“Your support and love for me is not taken for granted, I have quite a number of projects which are on my table, shall be attended to in due course.”
As the rightful mandate owners, which you bestowed on me as your representative, we took it as a duty to consult stakeholders from both zones before we arrived at these two projects slated for execution and the subsequent ones shall follow same pattern in no distance time, the lawmaker added.
Hon. Olawumi appreciated the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the release of Constituency fund, more of which is coming without delay because we have a Governor that is people and development oriented.
Programmes that are beneficial to the wellbeing and community growth are in the pipeline, amongst which are Widows’ charity, enhancing smooth academic learning and scholarships, vocational training, etc.
