Hon. Umar Yahaya Demands Thorough Police Investigation Over Death of Constituent.

According to the Lawmaker, said he was inaudated by several reports from Constituents and father of Master Victor of the missing and subsequent discovery of his corpse by the Police.

The Lawmaker added that Victor, an indigene of Omala LGA, was a 400 Level Student in the Library and Information Science, Faculty of Education, was found dead along Egume Road.

He called on the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, to institute a high powered investigation into the cause of death of the deceased student.

According to the Lawmaker, report from his Constituency said the 400 Level
Student was declared missing about a month ago.

He further added that the that information that reached him from the family and other Constituents said the police later found his corpse.

He called for an investigation that would unravel the immediate and remote causes of the death so as to forestall future occurrence.

According to the Lawmaker, information from the family of the deceased said Master Victor was Born on 22nd January, 2000, urged for a thorough investigation that would help in forestalling future incident in and around the University Campus.

 

The House of Assembly Member, Representing Omala State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Umar Yahaya has called on the Police and other security agencies to unravel the circumstances leading to the death of one Master Victor Ojoajogwu Judah, an indigene of Omala LGA.

The Lawmaker said until his death, Master Victor, was a Student of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba.
