Hon. Baba Haruna condoles immediate family, Katsina people over the death of Former President Buhari
Member representing Adavi State Constituency and the Chief Whip of Kogi State House of Assembly Hon. Asema Baba Haruna has condoled the family , people and government of Katsina State over the death of former President and Retired General Muhammadu Buhari.
This was contained in statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Monday.
Hon. Baba Haruna who described the death of the immediate former president as a national tragedy and a great loss to Nigeria and the African in general, said that vacuum created by the death would be difficult to fill in the country.
“The late former president has been a father figure in leadership and political mentor to many Nigerian. His doggedness and the quest to ensure the country remained one indivisible entity has no rivals” he said.
While praying to Allah the omnipotent and master of the universe to give him eternal life and forgive him his shortcomings, Hon. Baba Haruna also pray to God to give the family and the people of Daura his country home and Katsina his State the fortitude to bear this great loss at a time his wealth of experience is highly needed as 2027 general election is gradually approaching.
