The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, today inspected ongoing projects under the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) in Ankpa Local Government Area .
He expressed satisfaction with the level of job done by the contractors, particularly Mothercat Nigeria Limited, praising their professionalism and efficiency.
The ACReSAL projects inspected include a road construction contract that has reached 80% completion, which is expected to improve infrastructure, boost security, and agricultural productivity by easing access to farmlands.
Governor Ododo also commissioned several community development projects executed by Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, a Federal Lawmaker representing Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro constituency.
These projects include water, education, and Infrastructure initiatives critical to reducing the burden on the state government and aligning with Gov. Ododo administration’s development agenda.
While addressing the Crowd, Governor Ododo extended his appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his strong support to Kogi State through the ACReSAL project and other initiatives. He further pledged to reward Mr President with the glorious outcome of 2027 poll results.
He assured stakeholders that his administration remains committed to monitoring all projects to ensure quality delivery and value for public funds.
The governor’s inspection and commissioning of these projects demonstrate his administration’s focus on progress and prosperity for all Kogi State citizens.
Earlier, the Kogi State ACReSAL Coordinator Barr Ladi Kato thanked His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for taking his time to come down with his entourage. She further assured the Governor that nothing less than the best would be executed.
