
The Director General of Kogi State Government House Administration, Dr. Umaru Oricha Shuaibu, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administration. The induction ceremony today was attended by prominent Government officials, including members of the Kogi State Executive Council and House of Assembly members.
In his keynote address at the Banquet Hall, Government House, the President/Chairman of Council of the Chartered Institute of Administration, Adm. Ugochukwu Azubuko, FCIA, congratulated Dr. Shuaibu on his induction, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of his contributions to public service and administration. Azubuko noted that the Institute prides itself on excellence and professionalism, and that Dr. Shuaibu’s induction is a proof of his expertise and dedication to the field of administration.
The President/Chairman of Council also highlighted the importance of professional administration in achieving organizational success, emphasizing that no profession or business can achieve maximum success without the factor of administration. He encouraged Dr. Shuaibu to remain active as a member of the Institute, which offers various programs and training opportunities to update the knowledge and skills of its members.
Azubuko announced that the Institute is hosting its 4th All Administrators National Conference in Lagos State from October 23rd to 24th, 2025, with the theme “National Development: The
Administrator as a Catalyst.” He invited all administrators to attend the conference, which is expected to discuss issues of national importance and foster development and excellence in the field of administration.
The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Pastor Mrs. Folashade Ayoade Strike, PhD, lauded Dr. Shuaibu’s achievement, acknowledging his diligence and meticulousness in the discharging of his duties.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in Dr. Shuaibu’s career, recognizing his expertise and contributions to public service and administration.
