
The Baale of Amuro Kingdom, His Highness, Chief Eric Fiki, has extended his deepest condolences to the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
The governor’s father passes away on Monday evening at aged 83, according to a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon Kingsley Fanwo.
In a heartfelt condolence message on Monday in Lokoja, Chief Fiki expressed his sympathies to the governor and his family during this difficult period.
The condolence message reads: “I wish to express my deepest condolences to you on the passing of your father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
“May Allah grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and may your father’s soul rest in eternal peace.”
Chief Fiki urged the governor to take solace in the fact that his father lived a fulfilled life, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished.
The Amuro Baale acknowledged the governor’s father’s dedication, wisdom, and love for his family, which will undoubtedly continue to inspire the governor and his administration.
“As a leader, I understands the importance of resilience and faith during times of grief”.
He prayed that the governor finds comfort in the memories of his father’s life and the knowledge that his legacy will live on through him.
Chief Fiki further prayed that Allah grants the deceased eternal rest and grants the governor the strength to carry on with his duties as the Governor of Kogi State.
