The world has abundant resources, knowledge, and technology to flourish, but crises such as climate change, inequality, conflicts, and governance failures create the risk of collapse.
Man has made a lot of inventions and manufactured various things, but have no peace. Magnificent Cathedrals, churches, mosques, shrines and institutions are erected to teach worldly things in the name of God.
The teaching and practices of all religions, societies, governments, organisations and institutions have led to discrimination, division, unhealthy rivalry, hatred, wars and religious intolerance. Many lives and properties are lost to flood, earthquakes, and natural disasters all over the world.
This is in fulfilment of the scripture that says nations shall rise against nations, kingdoms against kingdoms and there shall be pestilence, earthquakes and famine.
Furthermore, it states that people shall betray one another and iniquities shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold but only those who endure to the end shall be saved.
The civilization of man is under threat. It is in recognition of this that God revealed through Prophet Isaiah to save Man and his civilization.
Isaiah 2:2-3 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills: and all nations shall flow to it.
Many people shall come and say, “come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob: He will teach us his ways, and we shall work in his parts”. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the world of the Lord from Jerusalem.
It is in line with the above that God instructed Adam not to receive any teaching from angels or other spirits apart from Himself. Adam’s disobedience has led to the current pathetic situation of Man.
However, as a loving Father, He has provided this way of escape at this end of time to teach Man and change man by Himself. It is in fulfilment of Isaiah 2:2-3 that the Holy Spirit is personified in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to teach and change Man into the expected standard God requires of him.
The teachings and practices of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu do not come from Man, angels or other spirit. Rather His teachings and practices come directly from the Almighty God. He says that Man has to seek God first and recognize Him and as the giver and ruler of everything.
He has therefore said that current problems of Man is traceable to lack of love. Accordingly, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is advising the inhabitants of the world to learn and equip themselves with love.
Leader Olumba Olumba Obu defines love as a state of oneness. That is, love is ONENESS; to regard every other person as yourself. You regard them as yourself whether such a person is a small child, an old fellow, a white man, black man or whatever.
You should understand that God regards everybody in the world as one; whether you are a man or woman, white or black or red, young or old, rich or poor, high or low, God regards all as same.
Love does not consist in clothes, food, human beings or anything. God is Love; Our Lord Jesus Christ is Love; the Holy Spirit is Love. That is why it is said that the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are One. That is also why Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “l and my father are one”.
Furthermore, he emphasizes that a person who love will not kill, steal and disgrace or abuse or curse any person. A lot of people think that when you give money or a building or expensive presents to another person, it means you love him.
No! The truth is that no matter what you give to another person, unless you regard the person as yourself, as part and parcel of yourself, then there is no difference between you and the person. That is why Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us only one commandment namely, “Love one another as I have loved you”.
However, Olumba stresses that even if a person runs to the sun, moon or stars or into the sea or the thin air, suffering and death shall find him. The current situation in the world cannot be solved by any man; no flesh and blood can help the world.
The situation needs a spiritual warfare and the Brotherhood of The Cross and Star has been adorned for this task. In fact, peace will continue to elude the world because armed forces and the police can never help the situation.
Conclusively, Olumba is reminding all presidents, prime ministers, religious leaders, highly placed men and women of societies to forsake hatred, war, oppression, discrimination, greed, and selfishness and pursue the agenda of love which leads to peaceful coexistence where there will be no color of skin, gender or status.
