The Kogi State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker has today celebrated with H.R.H Chief Akwu A. Obaje, the Ejeh of Ofu and Chairman of the Ofu Traditional Council, as a Royal Icon whose 5-year reign has ushered in unprecedented development and achievements in Ofu LGA.
In a congratulatory message, RT Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba described the monarch’s reign as a testament to his dedication to building a lasting legacy, fostering strong bridges of understanding and brotherhood across Nigeria.
The Lawmaker noted that Chief Obaje’s leadership has earned a global recognition, particularly in promoting interfaith harmony, national unity, and preventing ethnic disharmony. His reputation as an inspirational, strong, and visionary leader has endeared him to Nigerians, making his subjects proud of his leadership.
Following the celebration of the Monarch’s 5th coronation anniversary and in a significant display of gratitude and enthusiasm, the Ejeh of Ofu bestowed chieftancy titles on Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah from Ibaji LGA among other prominent/illustrious sons/daughters of Igala Kingdom.
In the same vein, Rt.Hon. Egwaba congratulated Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah and every other prominent leaders whose traditional title conferment took place today. The event had in attendance the Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchilola Egwaba, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo, Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah among other prominent political office holders, Traditional rulers, members of the Press, Ladies and gentlemen.
