
In a bold step towards enhancing grassroots security and promoting safer communities, the Zonal Security Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State Ankpa Federal Constituency Axis, Rt Honourable Ahmed Mohammad
today officially flagged off the training program for Neighbourhood Watch personnel across the Imane District.
The ceremony, held at Imane District in Olamaboro local government area, brought together traditional rulers, local
government officials, security agencies, and community stakeholders, highlighting the growing commitment of the state government to strengthening local security architecture.
In his address, the Zonal Security Adviser Rt Hon Ahmed Mohamed emphasized that the administration’s of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, proactive approach to community policing and citizen-led safety initiatives:
Security begins at the grassroots. This training will empower our neighbourhood watch members with the right skills, knowledge, and discipline to assist security agencies in safeguarding lives and properties in our communities,” he stated.
