I wish to sincerely extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those who joined me in marking my birthday yesterday.
Your calls, social media posts, messages, and prayers have humbled me in no small measure. The overwhelming show of love and goodwill from family, friends, colleagues, community leaders, professional bodies, public institutions, political associates, and well meaning citizens of Kogi State was both deeply inspiring.
Your kind words, gestures of affection, and sincere prayers not only made the day memorable for me but also reaffirmed the value of unity, friendship, and the strength of our shared humanity. I deeply appreciate every individual, group, and organization who went out of their way to celebrate me. Each act of kindness and remembrance is treasured, and I do not take it for granted.
As Auditor General for Local Government, this renewed outpouring of goodwill encourages me to rededicate myself to the service of our dear state with greater commitment, integrity, and transparency. I remain firmly resolved to continue working in the interest of accountability, due process, and the progress of our local government system, which is at the heart of grassroots development.
On this note, I once again thank every one of you who found time to celebrate with me in one form or another. May the Almighty God bless you all abundantly, grant you peace, and reward your kindness with joy in your personal and professional lives.
With profound gratitude,
Hon Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege,
Auditor General for Local Government,
Kogi State.
