As Muslims worldwide commemorate the blessed Mawlid al-Nabi, I, Yakubu Nazir AbdulHakeem, heartily felicitate with the Muslim Ummah on this joyous occasion. The birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) reminds us of the eternal values of peace, love, tolerance, justice, and accountability which he preached and practiced. It is our duty, as an expression of gratitude to Allah, to strive to live by the Sunnah of Rasulullah (SAW) and to embody his noble teachings in our daily lives.
I especially congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Executive Governor of Kogi State, on the grace of witnessing another Mawlid. May Allah bless him and his family with a joyous and fulfilling celebration. I also celebrate the Accountant General of the State, Chief (Dr.) Hajiya Habibat Oyiza Tijani Onumoko, whose exemplary conduct continues to portray her as a true model of a believing Muslim woman, particularly through her tireless efforts in alleviating the plight of the less privileged.
Most importantly, I commend and celebrate the resilient disabled community in Kogi State. Your strength, determination, and hard work remain a beacon of hope and inspiration. May this year’s Mawlid usher in greater blessings, joy, and opportunities in your lives.
As we celebrate, let us all resolve to embody the Prophet’s legacy of service, kindness, and justice. May Allah continue to strengthen the Muslim community, guide the administration of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and grant abundant blessings to the entire disabled community of Kogi State.
