‎Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Labour Matters, Comrade Onuh Edoka has appealed to the people of Olamaboro Local Government Area to ensure they register at the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration exercise.

Speaking to newsmen on the importance of the exercise, Comrade Edoka said getting voters card would strengthen individuals power and right to voting as well as deepen democracy in Nigeria.

‎According to him, the commencement of exercise was to allow those of voting age to acquire the voter card among other reasons ahead of the twenty twenty seven general elections.

‎The Special Adviser enjoined the people to put their political differences aside and acquire the voter card towards demonstrating the strength of the local government politically.

‎”To be precise, it is important to note that the CVR is essential and the people should not take it for granted. This is because no one can perform his or her franchise without the voters card, enough of complaints by the people, which is why they must get the voter card and vote in the people of your choice “, he stated.

‎Comrade Edoka expressed appreciation to the the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for creating the opportunity for the people to register and thanked the Chief Servant of the State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the opportunity given to political appointees to get to their homes and ensure adequate mobilization of their people in order to justify the essence of the exercise.

‎Comrade Edoka thanked stakeholders in Olamaboro Local Government for the commitment to the course, assuring that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC will spring surprises in the coming elections in Nigeria.
