Kogi State Chapter of the Advocacy for Youth Leadership In Governance, Nigeria has endorsed the Special Adviser on Labour Matters to Governor Usman Ododo for the House Of Representatives Seat for Ankpa-Omala-OlamaboroFederal Constituency.
Speaking at a Press Conference in Lokoja, the National Coordinator of the Group, Comrade Ajinomoh Abiodun, said the endorsement was done after a careful assessment of the political terrain in Kogi State.
According to him, the Group is appealing to Comrade Edoka to present himself for the political seat in view of his unprecedented achievement politically and sterling track record of service and integrity spanning over three decades in the Health Sector both at Local, State and Federal levels.
Comrade Onuh Johnson Edoka he stressed beyond his achievements at the health sector, has touched countless lives in his Constituency through youth Empowerment,. Community Development, Employment Facilitation and unwavering support for cultural institution and general benevolence.
“His impact in the negotiation and implementation of the National Minimum Wage in Kogi State earned him respect across the nation, workers are happy across board”, the coordinator stressed.
The Association therefore called for support by all in the Constituency to give him maximum support needed to achieve the lofty dreams.
He particularly urged political key players to consider the coming of Comrade Onuh Edoka in the next political dispensation for the good of the people.
Also speaking, the Secretary General and Public Relations Officer of the Group, Comrade Ajayi Grace and Usman Chubiyojo also expressed the unflinching support of all to the endorsement and realization of “Onuh Johnson Edoka for House of Representatives, Ankpa Federal Constituency “.
