The Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Suleiman Abdulrazak (Sariki), has awarded full scholarships to 10 students pursuing their carriers in healthcare related courses at the Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah.
The gesture was part of his commitment to educational support and human capital development aimed at easing the financial burden on the beneficiaries while encouraging young people to pursue professional careers in the health sector.
While presenting receipts of tuition fee payments to the 10 beneficiaries, Hon. Suleiman urged them to remain focused on their studies and to serve as worthy ambassadors of Ebiraland wherever they find themselves.
“By this intervention, we will continue to demonstrate leadership that prioritizes youth empowerment and community growth” he stated.
The lawmaker described the scholarship as both a relief for the students and an investment in the future of the state.
He urged the beneficiaries to take the advantage of the scholarship to advance their studies to enable them have genuine sources of livelihood.
