Zonal Security Adviser Congratulates New Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu
Ankpa, Kogi State – The Zonal Security Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State for the Ankpa Federal Axis, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed MPI, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu, who hails from Olamaboro Local Government Area in the Ankpa Federal Constituency of Kogi State.
In a statement released in Ankpa, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed described Major General Shaibu’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication, professionalism, and years of distinguished service to the Nigerian Army.
He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a son of Kogi State to such a prestigious national position, noting that the development has brought immense pride and joy to the people of the Ankpa Federal Axis and the entire state.
“Major General Waidi Shaibu’s elevation is a testament to his unwavering commitment to national security and excellence in military leadership. We are confident that his tenure will further strengthen the Nigerian Army and enhance the nation’s fight against insecurity,” the statement read.
The Zonal Security Adviser further pledged continued cooperation and support between local security structures and the military to maintain peace and stability across the Kogi East Senatorial District.
