Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to education and development while inspecting the Oke-Ibukun Model Secondary School facilities. The state-of-the-art school is a credit to the government’s dedication to providing quality education and empowering the youth.
Governor Ododo today at Oke-Ibukun expressed his gratitude to President Tinubu for his visionary leadership and support for the education sector. He noted that the school’s facilities will significantly enhance the learning experience for students and provide them with the necessary skills to excel in their academic pursuits.
The Governor who said the inspection tour is “aimed to assessing the progress of ongoing projects and ensure that they align with the government’s development agenda and specifications” also noted that Oke-Ibukun Model Secondary School is one of the flagship projects under the former administration of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello which has demonstrated the government’s commitment to investing in education and human capital development.
The Olu of Oke-Ibukun, His Royal Highness Oba Timothy Ige on behalf of the community expressed his appreciation to Governor Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the school’s facilities, promising to support the government’s efforts in promoting education and development in the area.
According to the Chief Ige, the Oke-Ibukun Model Secondary School is set to become a model for other schools in the state, providing a conducive learning environment for students to thrive.
