The Zonal Security Adviser for the Ankpa Federal Axis, on behalf of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, has commended the Deacon Job and Mrs. Omada Onoja Foundation for their remarkable contribution to strengthening community security through the donation of a new Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Divisional Headquarters at Ofante, Ogugu District, Olamaboro Local Government Area.
Speaking at the official commissioning and upgrading ceremony, the Zonal Security Adviser noted that the transformation of the Ofante outpost into a full-fledged divisional headquarters marks a significant milestone in improving grassroots security operations and enhancing inter-agency collaboration in the region.
He conveyed the warm felicitations of Governor Ododo to the people of Ogugu District and the entire Olamaboro Local Government, emphasizing that the State Government remains committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all residents of Kogi State.
According to him, the administration of His Excellency has continued to prioritize security as a foundation for sustainable development, urging other well-meaning citizens and organizations to emulate the Onoja Foundation’s exemplary gesture of community partnership.
In his remarks, Deacon Job Onoja, speaking on behalf of the foundation, expressed gratitude to God and the Kogi State Government for their support, stating that the initiative was driven by a desire to contribute to the safety and well-being of the community. He added that the new divisional headquarters will bring security operations closer to the people and enhance prompt response to security challenges in the area.
The NSCDC Commandant and other dignitaries present lauded the gesture and reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to ensuring peace and order within Olamaboro and its environs.
