Idris King extends boreholes rehabilitation project to Okibo Ward in Ogori-Magongo LGA

As the Renew Hope Boreholes Rehabilitation Project initiated by Hon Abdulazeez Idris King continued unabated, the well celebrated project in Kogi central senatorial district has been extended to Okibo ward Ogori in Magongo local government area of Kogi State.

Hon. Idris King a Federal Commissioner representing Kogi State at the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) initiated the project in order to provide portable water to the people at the rural areas of the district.

A traditional ruler in the ward His Royal Highness Otaru of Okibo Chief Babatunde Edward in his words , expressed gratitude and appreciation to the initiator Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King for extending the kind gesture to the people of Okibo ward in Ogori

The Royal Father explained that normally during dry seasons, residents of the ward encountered untold hardship due to acute scarcity of water caused by the moribund borehole in Okibo ward in Ogori

“This support coming from Hon. Idris King is a great one and at the point of need. We really appreciate him for this effort and concern he has to us” he stated.

One of the residents of the ward who was fetching water from the rehabilitated borehole but could not mentioned his name , thank the former lawmaker for extending his olive branch to Okibo ward.

“May God Almighty blessed him abundantly. We appreciate him sincerely” he said.

 

Another resident of Okibo ward in Ogori Mr Jonathan also expressed his appreciation to the sponsor of the project , saying the people of the ward were extremely happy to see the borehole working again.

“The rehabilitation of the borehole is a blessing to us and we are praying to God to bless Hon. Idris King for this assistance he rendered to us in this ward. We will not forget this gesture in a hurry.

“We are not too surprised because Hon. Idris King has been good to us in the past especially when he represented Okene /Ogori-Magongo federal constituency at the National Assembly.

“God will bless him, bless his family, give him good health and the financial strength to do more for the people of this ward and by extension Ogori-Magongo local government area” he said.
