Yagba East Legislature Honourable Emmanuel Obaro Bagged Award As Most performing house of assembly member in okun land and kogi West
Honourable Emmanuel Obaro of Yagba East Local Government Area has been honored with the award for Most Performing House of Assembly Member in Okunland, Kogi West. The award was presented by the Coalition of Okun Youths Frontiers on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the NUJ Press Centre in Lokoja.
This recognition highlights Honourable Obaro’s exemplary legislative performance over the past two years as the representative of Yagba East. Mr. Akinola Oluropo Babatunde, leader of the Okun Youths Frontiers, noted that the organization has closely monitored Honourable Obaro’s contributions in the State House of Assembly. They found that he has excelled in various areas, including empowerment initiatives, security support, and quality representation. His commitment to the welfare of the Yagba East community is evident through his active engagement and support for local government council executives, ensuring the smooth operation of the council.
Honourable Obaro was represented at the award ceremony by Honourable Sunday Paul, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Honourable Paul affirmed that the award is well-deserved and will motivate Honourable Obaro to continue his efforts in providing effective and quality legislative representation for the constituents of Yagba East.
