The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, has called on the communities of Itale and Ishi in Ibaji Local Government Area to immediately end all forms of hostilities and embrace peace.
Rt. Hon. Comfort emphasized that peacefully settling differences is far better than resorting to violence. She urged all parties involved to prioritize peace and return to the negotiation table for a peaceful resolution of the issues leading to the crisis.
Rt. Hon. Egwaba expressed her condolences to the families who have lost loved ones and possessions.
She prayed for peaceful coexistence among all communities in Ibaji Local Government Area.
