ODOMA ASSURES IDAH PEOPLE OF QUALITY LEADERSHIP
The Chairman of Idah local government, Hon. Abuh Odoma, has assured the people of the area of quality, purposeful and examplary leadership in his service to humanity. Hon. Abuh Odoma gave the assurance in his address during the celebration of Year 2021 Armed forces remembrance day at Idah township stadium. He commended the fallen heroes for their sacrifices to preserve the sanctity and unity of Nigeria as one united and indivisible country. Hon.
Odoma appealed to the Nigeria Legion Members in Idah LGA to be vanguard of peace to assist the government to check crime and criminality in their area and localities. He reminded the ex- servicemen of their parental responsibility of proper upbringing of our children and giving of qualitative education for better societual life. The Council Boss who was represented at the occasion by the Secretary to the local government, Hon. Ali Kela Abdulkadir, appreciated and thanked Idah people for their overwhelming support and vote to him as the Executive Chairman of the council in the recent local government polls in Kogi state. He urged the legion members to give unalloyed support. to rhe government of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello to better the lots of the people of kogi state. Hon. Odoma who promised to accord the legion members respect, restated the counxil’s commitment to make the body function effectively in Idah LGA. In his address, rhe Chairman of Nigeria Legion of Ex-servicemen, Flight Sergemr Yusuf Achor (Retired ), praised the government at all levels for according Nigeria Legion respect and recognition. He appealed to the legion members not to negate their family responsibilities and urged them to be examplary in character and societal activities. Flight sergeant Yusuf Achor said they were ready to partner with the government for the peace and security of Idah LGA. In a remark, the Director of Idah local government, Mall. Musa Ali commended the Legion members for successful marking of Armed Forces Remembrance Day. He assured them that the governmentt will do everything humanly possible to enable the legion function in Idah LGA. Mall.
