OJOGBANE CARE FOUNDATION….”A Laughter Source for Widows and Orphans”. The OJOGBANE CARE FOUNDATION has again put laughter in the mouths of widows and orphans in Agojeju-Ejule, Omache District in Ofu Local Government Area and it’s environs this Christmas. The Founder, Barrister Jonson Amade Ojogbane and his wife, Barrister Mrs Victoria Fila Ojogbane, have over the years put their resources together to make widows and orphans feel good throughout the year. Just a few of the activities of the foundation includes: *Care for over 700 widows, bi- monthly through the provision of food stuff of all seasons, gift of new wrappers for each of them at Christmas. *Provision of Scholarship to undergraduates to become Professionals in their chosen fields, for which many have graduated. *Payment of school fees to indigent orphans up to Secondary Schools. *Building of Churches and Ministries as well as providing financial assistance to individual Ministers, including the provision of musical instruments to them. *Provision of Palliatives to indigent widows and orphans. This was done seven(7) times during the Covid 19 Lockdown, running into millions of naira. *The OJOGBANE CARE FOUNDATION has between the 24th of December and now, shared rice and clothings to these set of people with cash in support. Speaking at the Widows Palliative Conference organized by the Foundation,at the United Evangelical Church, Agojeju on Monday, Barrister Jonson Ojogbane said plans were almost matured to commence medical outreaches by the Foundation. Barrister Ojogbane gave kudos to his spouse, Barrister Victoria for being a pillar to the Foundation, saying he provides the funds but that his wife executes it all. Barrister Ojogbane noted however, without mincing words that the Focal Officer, Mr Ben Idrisu and Pastor Sunday Atabor of the Believers Bible Church Ministries have been very wonderful partners.
