A global pacesetter and academician of repute who has served in different capacities strengthening Science and Research across the world at various times as Head of Research and Evaluation Section, Distance Education Centre, University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Australia; Foundation Director & Chair Professor, Centre for Research in Distance and Adult Learning (CRIDAL), The Open University of Hong Kong from where he was loaned to the Federal Government of Nigeria to be the National Coordinator, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) & National Open & Distance Learning Programmes;
Foundation Vice Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria. And currently the Secretary General & CEO, Association of African Universities (AAU), Accra Ghana, a position heās held for the past 12 years.
