A Magistrate Court sitting in Lokoja today , sentenced one Shehu Mohammed Tenimu ,a final year National diploma Student of kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja to eight years imprisohment for being in possession of gun
The presiding Magistrate, Tenimu Mohammed read the judgment following a three count charges brought before him by the prosecuting counsel,Barrister Samuel Ikutanwa
The defendant, Shehu Tenimu pleaded quilty to the three charges which was read before the Court.
The Court also announced eight thousand naira fine to be paid by the defendant .
