Fellow Kogi Central citizens, I urge you to join me in a collective effort to unite our leaders, putting past grievances aside and focusing on a brighter future. I long to see a new Ebira where our children can grow and develop without the trauma of gunfire, burning houses, and senseless killings. Our goal should be a developed Ebira where our children can reach their full potential. It is worth noting that the Ebira people of Kogi State are distinguished by their remarkable building skills, exceptional sociability, and strong communal ties.
As we approach Ebira Day, I suggest we seize this chance to bring together our clans, politicians, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and other key stakeholders. By embracing forgiveness and unity, we can, by God’s grace, restore Ebira to its former glory. – By Hon. Engr. Friday Babalola, aka Baba Frayo
