Diplomatic Award: Amb. Dr. Alfa Friday calls for Peace for Economic enhancement in Nigeria.
Diplomats Converged at the Grand Ibro Hotel Wuse zone 5 in Abuja a while ago to honor Amb. Dr. Alfa Friday Abdulahi as Peace Ambassador and an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Peace and Humanity conferred on him from the renowned Yeshua University of Theology, Leed England.
Dr. Friday Alfa in an interview with Journalists after the programme revealed that his award by Youth Education and Leadership Initiative (YELI) an arm of the United Nations through their Change Ambassadors for Peace and Humanity (CAPH) Programme can only be dedicated to God and the people of his beloved State Kogi stressing that, the efforts of the Kogi State government to preserve peace and security is worth emulating.
Speaking further, Dr. Alfa said, the only way we can have enhanced economic development in Nigeria is for the Nigerian populace to embrace peace adding that, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of any society can only thrive when peace is enabled.
He promised to utilize this Honor in addition to his wealth of experience and philanthropic nature to stair up change that would be celebrated by all.
The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of the Diplomatic International Passports and musical interludes by some artists.
More so, the awardee appreciated all, especially the ECSSOOSA Family for gracing his occasion.
