Eid-el- Maulud: Oparison Calls for Continuous Prayer For Nigeria’s Unity, Prosperity.
The Ogori-Magongo local government Chairmanship Standard flagbearer of All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Goke Oparison has Congratulated all the Muslim faithful in Ogori/Magongo, Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole on Commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W)
In a press statement by Hon.Goke Oparison made available to the public through his media aide Mr. Ogunleye Johnson, The chairmanship hopeful posited that having had the period for reflection, recommitment and to pray for our well being as a people, he also hopes that beyond this period, they will continue to pray for the security, peace and prosperity of the Nation.
“Also important,as electioneering season for Chairmanship and councillorship approaches, is the need for unity and togetherness. We must also be watchful, refusing to be polarised along ethnic or religious lines; or be used to incite violence.
Beyond this, we must focus on ensuring the progress of Nigeria and her budding democracy and by ensuring that only those who have our collective interests are given the privilege of leadership.
