Folashade Gifts Rice to Communities
As the novel COVID-19 continues to ravage the socio – economic activity of the world well into the Holy month of Ramadan, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State,(SSG) Dr. Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade donates 400 bags of rice to communities.
The SSG said the 400 3 kg bags are her modest gift to lnsanlu and Oke-Oyi in Yagba East Local Government Area to cushion the effects of the Convid – 19 on the people as well as to boost the morale of Muslims faithful observing the Ramadan fast.
While she urged the muslims faithful to seize the opportunity of the Holy month to pray fervently for the end to the pandemic and a return to normalcy, she also enjoin the benefitting communities to adhere strictly to the guidelines and protocols of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control as they remain healthy and safe
